Wakulla County, Fl / Wakulla County Airport / 2J0

Wakulla County Airport ([[https://www.airnav.com/airport/2J0|2J0]]) is a 4,000' grass strip just up the coast from Apalachicola. There are some simple hangars near mid-field but it doesn't look like there are any tie-downs or even a designated area for transient aircraft. I recommend going ahead and taxiing to the north end of the runway and park near the restaurant. The ground seems plenty firm there.

At the north end of the north / south runway is Las Palmas Mexican restaurant.

Is the food any good? Hey, it is just your basic Mexican restaurant, but the place is clean and the service is friendly. [[https://www.yelp.com/biz/las-palmas-mexican-restaurant-panacea|Yelp says]] get the Birria street tacos with the homemade corn tortillas and beef broth dip.
